DUNFEY SHOW, Lincoln Levy Gallery, State Street, Portsmouth, NH
The Reception for this annual juried show will be on November 3rd, 5-8 pm. An oil painting that I did this past Spring, "Lilies -- Stairway to Heaven" is in the show. My 4-year-old grandson Eddie will be there, enjoying the crowd and the pictures. Maybe you will come too? Emily
NORTH COUNTRY STUDIO WORKSHOPS EXHIBITION, Oct. 6 - Dec. 22, 2017
My oil painting, "Rising, Rising, Falling, Falling" is in this show. This is the 25th Anniversary Show of multi-media work by artists and craftspeople who have attended NCSW workshops over the years. It is at the Gallery Headquarters of the League of NH Craftsmen at 49 South Main Street, Concord NH. The Opening is on October 6 from 5-7 pm.
NCSW is a fantastic opportunity to take a week-long workshop in January in Bennington VT (!) with a top-notch teacher and 100+ other artists in about 10 different workshops.
I took the Drawing Workshop in 2009 with Larry Thomas, and another Drawing Workshop in 2016, with Bill Flynn. The charcoal drawings here on my website began to happen in the workshop with Bill. I am still exploring what started there. I am looking forward to 2018's workshop with Evan Crankshaw.
